Privacy Policy
Last updated 20 June 2026
Quitly is an app that helps you quit smoking and vaping. This policy explains, in plain English, what happens to your information when you use it. We have tried to keep what we collect to the minimum.
Your quit data stays on your device
The details you enter, your quit date, what you are quitting, how much you smoked or vaped, your savings, your check-ins and your milestones, are saved on your own device. Quitly does not require an account and does not keep a copy of this on our servers.
The AI coach
When you message Quinn, the AI coach, the text you send is passed to our AI provider, OpenAI, so it can write a reply. It is used to generate that reply. Please do not share information you would not want processed this way. Quinn is a support tool and is not a doctor, a therapist or an emergency service.
Payments
If you subscribe to Quitly Pro, your payment is handled by Stripe, a payment provider. We never see or store your full card details. Stripe processes your payment under its own privacy policy.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not use advertising trackers.
- We do not share your quit data with employers, insurers or anyone else.
Who it is for
Quitly is intended for adults aged 18 and over who want to stop smoking or vaping.
In a crisis
Quitly is not a substitute for professional medical help. If you are in crisis or need urgent help, contact your local emergency services or a crisis line. In the UK you can call the Samaritans on 116 123.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Questions about your privacy? Email us at hello@tryquitly.com.
